Is it a good deal to RENT a timeshare?

Posted on March 2, 2010.

We were looking into taking a vacation to Cancun and the hotel prices are outrageous for the time we’re looking to go. We found a site with some timeshares for rent, and the prices look like a great deal! Is there anything that we need to know about renting a timeshare? Like if they say it’s $1200 per week, are there additional costs that apply or do we have to sign some contract?
