I think timeshares are a not a good deal…It’s just an expensive pain in a**.
When you want to go on vacation just find a good deal on one of the discount sites like bookit or apple vacations.

I have 2 timeshares and they work for me because I was selective where I bought them and they are in locations I would go often anyway. We have been able to trade ours and have even given weeks to relatives as wedding gifts when we didn’t use them. However, you can often get the same time share for the same cost or less on the internet. Though the internet prices will continue to rise and the timeshare will be reasonably constant.
If you were to look at a timeshare, make sure it is in a desireable location so people will give you more credit when trading. Orlando would seem to be a good area, but the whole area is timeshares so they don’t trade as well as a timeshare in Hawaii. Timeshares in other countries are not deeded frequently and are really just a 20 year right to use. Make sure what you are getting.
