Is there somewhere you can buy people’s timeshare points?
I totally don’t want a timeshare, but I’m curious if there’s anywhere to buy people’s points. Like an auction or a listing of them. I’m wondering if a deal can be found too if anyone knows. Thanks!

every time I come across them they are selling the timeshare – if you are look for some place to go and know when you want you could try rci.com – they have some go deals – you could also try redweek.com – they will give you a better variety of unit and times – there are some good deals on timeshares also – just don’t buy from the resort – I have five -

I believe that you can buy timeshare points, but I think it is quite a process to do so. Stay away from contacting resorts, their only concern will be unloading timeshare units they own and they will not let you off the phone until you sign up. If you are looking to purchase a weeks vacation at a timeshare resort without the commitment of buying, you should look into renting from a current timeshare owner. There are so many people out there right now looking to either sell their timeshare or that are in a position where they cannot use it. Most of them have the option to bank the week but they still have to pay their yearly fees and taxes even if they never use it. Being a former timeshare owner, this aspect can be very frustrating. I would suggest contacting a timeshare resale company such as http://www.buyatimeshare.com or http://www.vacationpropertyresales.com and see if they have any clients signed up that are interested in renting out thier weeks. You probably could offer to pay their fees and taxes for the year and get a week at a gorgeous resort much cheaper than you think. In today’s economy a lot of people can’t afford to take vacations and use their timeshare’s but they are still responsible for paying those fees. I am sure you will find more than one willing timeshare owner to sell you their week at a very aggressive rate. It certainly can’t hurt to ask.
